This year we are introducing two new services to Australian accumulation funds:

The Investment Asset Benchmarking Service

For 15 years CEM has been assisting funds around the world monitor and compare their costs value added and risks to a relevant peer group. The peer group is selected from a database of approximately 300 funds representing assets of AUD $4.2 trillion.
By offering this service to Australian accumulation funds we are providing them with the opportunity to benchmark their costs, and analyse their risks and value-added against funds of their size and asset allocation from either a domestic or global database.

The Plan – Option Benchmarking Service

Australian accumulation funds compete in the eyes of the member at the option level. CEM provides a management tool to better understand, monitor and manage the costs, net returns and risks of the Plan’s options. By comparing each of your individual options to other Australian options (based on the underlying assets, not labeling), we are able to benchmark each of your option’s costs. Additional analysis of the risk and returns against their benchmarks and objectives provides unique insights for internal management.
In addition the service will detail the diversification and characteristics of the plans. Plan features and additional items requested by Australian accumulation funds such as tax, crediting/reserving, plan features have also been added for information and comparison purposes.
